Installation Guide
Get CastleTV set up on any device in minutes. Choose your device below and follow our clear, step-by-step instructions.
Before You Start
After subscribing you receive a welcome email with your Username, Password, Portal URL, and M3U URL. Keep this email open.
We recommend at least 10 Mbps for HD, 25 Mbps for 4K streams. A wired Ethernet connection always beats Wi-Fi for IPTV.
Make sure your device has power during setup. Interruptions mid-install can cause app corruption.

Amazon Fire TV Stick
Recommended app: IPTV Smarters Pro
IPTV Smarters Pro is not in the Amazon App Store so we sideload it using the free Downloader app. The whole process takes about 10 minutes.
Enable Unknown Sources
From your Firestick home screen go to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options. Toggle "Apps from Unknown Sources" and "ADB Debugging" to ON.
Install Downloader App
Go back to the home screen, click the Search icon and type "Downloader". Select it from the results and click Get / Download to install it.
Download IPTV Smarters APK
Open the Downloader app. In the URL field type: https://www.iptvsmarters.com/smarters.apk and press Go. Wait for the APK to download (about 30 MB).
Install the App
When the download finishes tap Install. Accept all permission prompts. Once installed tap Open, then tap Delete to remove the APK file and free up storage.
Add Your CastleTV Subscription
Open IPTV Smarters Pro. Tap "Add New User" → "Login with Xtream Codes API". Enter a name for the playlist, then paste in your Username, Password, and Portal URL that CastleTV sent you by email after purchase.
Start Watching
Tap "Add User". Your channels will load in seconds. Browse Live TV, Movies, Series and Catch-Up from the home screen. Enjoy!
Android Phone / Tablet
Recommended app: IPTV Smarters Pro
IPTV Smarters Pro is available directly on the Google Play Store, so no sideloading is needed. Setup takes under 5 minutes.
Download from Play Store
Open the Google Play Store on your Android device. Search for "Smarters Pro" (by XTREME HD IPTV). Tap Install.
Open the App
Launch IPTV Smarters Pro. Accept the Terms of Service on first launch.
Add Your Subscription
Tap "Add New User" → "Login with Xtream Codes API". Enter a friendly name, then fill in your CastleTV Username, Password and Portal URL.
Load Channels
Tap "Add User". Your full channel list, VOD library, and series will load. This can take 30–60 seconds the first time.
Start Streaming
Tap any channel or movie to start. Use the bottom navigation to switch between Live TV, Movies, Series, and Catch-Up content.
iPhone / iPad
Recommended app: Smarters Player Lite
iPhone and iPad users can download Smarters Player Lite directly from the Apple App Store — no sideloading or extra steps needed.
Download from App Store
Open the App Store. Search for "Smarters Player Lite" (by XTREME HD IPTV). Tap Get to install it. You may need to enter your Apple ID password.
Launch the App
Open Smarters Player Lite. Read and accept the Terms & Conditions shown on first launch.
Add Your CastleTV Account
Tap "Add New User" → "Login with Xtream Codes API". Fill in your subscription name, Username, Password, and Portal URL from your CastleTV welcome email.
Wait for Channels to Load
Tap "Add User". The app will fetch your full playlist. This takes about 30–60 seconds on first load.
Watch Anywhere
You can now stream Live TV, Movies, and Series on your iPhone or iPad. Use AirPlay to mirror to your Apple TV or any AirPlay-compatible screen.
Samsung / LG Smart TV
Recommended app: Smart IPTV (SIPTV)
Samsung and LG Smart TVs support Smart IPTV (SIPTV) which can be installed from the TV's built-in app store. You activate it from any browser using your TV's MAC address.
Install Smart IPTV on Your TV
On your Samsung TV open Smart Hub / App Store. On LG open the LG Content Store. Search for "Smart IPTV" and install it. Launch the app — you will see your TV's MAC address on screen. Note it down.
Register on the SIPTV Website
On your phone or computer visit my.siptv.app. Click "My List" then enter your TV's MAC address exactly as shown.
Add Your M3U Playlist
In the "Playlist" section enter your CastleTV M3U URL (provided in your welcome email). Click "Send" to push it to your TV.
Restart the App on Your TV
Go back to your TV and press "Restart" in the Smart IPTV app. Your channels will load — this takes about 60 seconds.
Browse and Watch
Use your TV remote to browse live channels, switch categories, and access your VOD library. The full electronic programme guide (EPG) loads automatically.
Apple TV (tvOS)
Recommended app: Smarters Player Lite
Apple TV runs tvOS and supports IPTV through Smarters Player Lite, available on the App Store. Setup mirrors the iPhone method.
Open the App Store
On your Apple TV home screen select the App Store icon.
Search and Install
Search for "Smarters Player Lite". Select it and tap Get to install. Sign in with your Apple ID if prompted.
Add Your Subscription
Open the app. Tap "Add New User" → "Xtream Codes API". Enter your CastleTV Username, Password and Portal URL.
Load Channels
Tap "Add User". After 30–60 seconds your entire channel library will be ready to browse.
Stream on the Big Screen
Navigate with your Siri Remote to browse Live TV, Movies, and Series in stunning 4K on your TV.
Windows PC / Mac
Recommended app: IPTV Smarters Pro
IPTV Smarters Pro has dedicated Windows and Mac desktop apps. Alternatively VLC Media Player works with any M3U playlist and requires zero installation steps beyond VLC itself.
Download IPTV Smarters for Desktop
Visit iptvsmarters.com and download the Windows .exe or Mac .dmg installer. Run the installer and follow the on-screen prompts.
Launch the App
Open IPTV Smarters Pro on your computer. Accept the Terms of Service.
Add Your CastleTV Login
Click "Add New User" → "Login with Xtream Codes API". Enter your Username, Password and Portal URL from your welcome email.
Browse Your Library
Your complete channel list, VOD movies, and series will load. Use the sidebar to switch between Live TV, Movies, Series and Catch-Up.
Alternative: VLC Media Player
Open VLC. Go to Media → Open Network Stream. Paste your M3U URL and click Play. All channels will load in the playlist panel on the left.
Android TV Box
Recommended app: TiviMate
Android TV Boxes (NVIDIA Shield, MECOOL, X96 etc.) support TiviMate — widely considered the best IPTV player available. It has a beautiful EPG and advanced features.
Install TiviMate from Play Store
Open the Google Play Store on your Android TV Box. Search for "TiviMate IPTV Player". Install it.
Open TiviMate
Launch TiviMate. On first run you will be prompted to add a playlist.
Add Xtream Codes Playlist
Select "Add Playlist" → "Xtream Codes". Enter your Portal URL (without http://), Username, and Password from your CastleTV welcome email.
Wait for EPG to Load
TiviMate will download your full channel list and electronic programme guide. This takes 1–3 minutes depending on your internet speed.

MAG Box / STB
Recommended app: Portal URL
MAG Boxes (MAG 254, 256, 322, 351 etc.) use a portal URL system. You need to provide your box's MAC address to CastleTV so we can activate it on your account.
Find Your MAG MAC Address
On your MAG remote press Menu. Go to System Information. Your MAC address is listed (format: AA:BB:CC:DD:EE:FF). Write it down exactly.
Send MAC Address to CastleTV
Contact CastleTV support via WhatsApp (+44 7481 345011) and send us your MAC address. We will activate it on your account within minutes.
Enter the Portal URL
On your MAG remote press Menu → System Settings → Servers → Portals. In the "Portal 1 URL" field enter your CastleTV Portal URL (we send this after activation).
Save and Restart
Press OK to save. Go back and select "Restart Portal" or power the box off and on. The portal will load automatically.
Browse and Stream
Your full channel list will appear in the MAG interface. Use the remote arrows to browse categories. Press OK on any channel to start streaming.
Compatible IPTV Players
CastleTV works with all major IPTV players. Use Xtream Codes API or your M3U URL to connect.
Troubleshooting Common Issues
Quick fixes for the most common IPTV setup problems.
Double-check your Username, Password and Portal URL for typos. Ensure your subscription is active. Contact CastleTV support if the issue persists.
Switch from Wi-Fi to a wired Ethernet connection. In your IPTV app settings change the decoder to HW+ (hardware). Lower the stream quality to FHD or HD temporarily. Restart your router.
Clear the app cache (Settings → Apps → [your app] → Clear Cache). Then reopen the app and allow 1–2 minutes for the EPG to refresh.
Your playlist may be cached. Delete the playlist in the app and re-add it using your credentials. This forces a fresh download.
In your player settings find Audio and toggle "Audio Passthrough" off. Alternatively switch to a different audio track using the audio button during playback.
Clear the app cache and data (Settings → Apps → [app] → Clear Data). Uninstall and reinstall the app. Make sure your device has enough free storage space (500 MB minimum).
Your MAC address has not been activated. Contact CastleTV support via WhatsApp with your MAC address and we will activate it immediately.
Go to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options and make sure "Apps from Unknown Sources" is turned ON. Then try downloading and installing again.
